DURHAM'S MP has praised a university student's organisation for its efforts to promote sexual health.
Labour MP Roberta Blackman-Woods received a petition from Durham Students' Union (DSU) calling on the Government to improve access to treatment advice.
The signatures were collected during the DSU's sexual health and guidance week.
Mrs Blackman-Woods said: "I am pleased that Durham students take this matter seriously. I congratulate Richard Freeborn, DSU's welfare officer, for organising so many people to sign this petition.
