AGE Concern is providing a free Christmas lunch and party for the elderly next month.
The charity's County Durham area is holding the event at Langley Park Community Centre, in Wood View, on Thursday, December 8, from 10am to 2.30pm.
Apart from the traditional turkey lunch and all the trimmings, the event includes musical Christmas bingo, and other prize competitions.
Age Concern can also arrange transport for anyone wanting to attend, but struggling to reach the venue.
Further information is available from Age Concern's Atherton Street county headquarters, in Durham, by ringing 0191-374 6367.
