FOURTEEN young people will be celebrating their teamwork at a presentation evening.
The youngsters from The Youthy, in Thornaby, and Ingleby Barwick Youth Club will be rewarded for gaining a level one qualification in teamwork and communication. Stockton Youth Service, in partnership with the Five Lamps Youth Service, ran the test at The Youthy climbing wall, and also at a residential weekend at Carlton Lodge Outdoor Centre, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, in July.
They will be presented with certificates at a cermony on Thursday, December 1.
Shirley Stenburge, Stockton Council's Youth Service support officer, said: "This is a great achievement for the young people. They thoroughly enjoyed the team-building experiences, which is a great stepping stone in their life skills for the future."
