Pupils are celebrating after taking three top awards in a speech and drama competition.
The team from Queen Mary's School at Baldersby, near Topcliffe, won the improvisation, choric speaking and dualogue categories in the Teesdale Music, Speech and Drama Tournament.
The competition took place on Saturday at Teesdale School, in Barnard Castle.
Kate Vaughan, head of drama at Queen Mary's, said: "It was the first time the girls had taken part, so we are thrilled that they did so well. It's a great achievement. They shone."
