TIM EVANS has been made a partner at property consultancy Knight Frank.
Mr Evans helped set up the Newcastle office of Knight Frank in 1995 and is a leading figure in the city's commercial property world. Last year, he was named the "agents' agent" in Newcastle, by Property Week magazine.
He said: "This is a big honour for me - and illustrates how important this area is to Knight Frank's operations in the United Kingdom."
Nick Thomlinson, senior partner at Knight Frank, said: "This promotion acknowledges the achievements and commitment of the individual involved. This is part of our stated aim of widening our equity. It is a testament to the calibre of people like Tim who we have in the firm."
From May 1 next year, Knight Frank will have 38 proprietary partners owning part of the company.
