NEIGHBOURHOOD Watch bosses are urging people to buy light timer switches to deter burglars.
The switches are available from the Neighbourhood Watch office in the community safety department, central house annex, Gladstone Street, Darlington, costing £1.
Safety staff will be available tomorrow from 1pm to 4pm, in the Matalan car park, Neasham Road; Friday, from 2pm in Dodmire Infant School Christmas fair; Saturday, 11am to 2pm at the Bank Top Christmas fair, Eastbourne Methodist Church; Saturday December 3, 10am to 1pm, in Asda car park; and Thursday, December 15, 11am to 8pm, in High Row, as part of the Christingle market.
