DANCERS from across Darlington excelled in recent dancing exams held in the town.
Pupils at the Pam Tallentire Studio of Dance, held in Branksome Community Centre, took part in the International Dance Teachers' Association exams last week, and all got high scores.
A pass was achieved with 65 per cent of the mark, commended 75 per cent, highly commended 85 per cent and honours 95 per cent.
The results were:
Junior Freestyle Bronze Awards: Mariah Bradley and Courtney Greaves - commended; Amanda Atkinson, Courtney Brennan, Amy Carpenter, Gemma Choppin, Emily Cooper, Alice Fisher, Nicole Gent, Rebecca Lazenby, Gemma Marr, Rebecca MacCormack, Haidee O' Connor, Hannah Randall, Rebecca Richmond and Megan Slaughter - highly commended
Junior Freestyle Silver Awards: Heather Ratcliffe - highly commended;
Junior Freestyle Gold Awards: Rachel Lockett - commended; Brandon Holloway, Zoe Philp, Tara Potter, Chloe Pratt and Alice Reed - highly commended; Amy Barton - honours.
Junior Freestyle 1st Gold Bar Awards: Kelly McKie and Stella McSherry - commended; Hannah Alderson, Ellie Barton, Rebecca Skipper and Sophie Vayro - highly commended
Junior Freestyle 2nd Gold Bar Awards: Sian Clement - highly commended; Emma Burt - honours.
Junior Freestyle Star 3 Awards: Katie Nelson - highly commended.
