A MOTOR dealership was transformed into a beauty parlour for one night only - in the name of charity.
Sherwoods, in Chesnut Street, Darlington, converted its Vauxhall showroom to stage the Estee Lauder event and more than 80 people attended, raising a total of £930 for the town's St Teresa's Hospice.
The event, hosted by Sherwoods managing director Alasdair MacConachie, included Estee Lauder demonstrator Christine Cartwright carrying out a makeover of hospice director Jane Bradshaw.
Mrs Bradshaw said: "The evening was great fun and I especially enjoyed the makeover. I want to thank Alasdair and his team."
