SENIOR officers will be on hand to be quizzed about crime levels and general policing at a public meeting later this month.
Chief Superintendent Alan Curry will be among panel members discussing policing issues for the Barley Mow and Birtley areas, between Chester-le-Street and Gateshead.
The event, at Barley Mow Village Hall, is the latest in a series of police and community forum meetings to be held in Gateshead and surrounding areas this year, as part of the Northumbria force's regular public consultation programme.
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting, at the village hall in Bedford Avenue, off Vigo Lane, Birtley, on Wednesday November 30, starting at 7pm.
