DOG lovers are being asked to give a home to two mastiffs.
Five-year-old Neopolitan mastiff, Sooty, and four-year-old cross, Goldie, have been living with Joanne Piper at her home in Catterick since March, after their elderly owner died.
She got the dogs through Saltburn Animal Rescue Association, but has found it difficult to cope and the association is now looking for someone else to take them on.
Mrs Piper recommended that Sooty and Goldie should go to someone who does not have children aged under ten-years-old.
Anyone who would like to offer the dogs a home can contact Saltburn Animal Rescue Association on (01287) 201005.
