A BAFTA-WINNING director and a star of the comedy show Little Britain will present the awards as a youth theatre group celebrates its tenth anniversary this weekend.
Bishop Auckland Theatre Hooligans (Bath) will present awards to some of its star performers past and present at King James I Community College today.
Presenting the prizes will be Michael Hines, who recently won his second Bafta for Still Game, and Paul Charlton, who appears in an upcoming episode of Little Britain.
Bath was established in 1995 and its young actors cover community issues including domestic violence and anti-social behaviour.
More than 200 former and present members will walk up the red carpet to attend the event, with about 70 awards to be handed out.
Leader Stephen Elliott, who has organised the evening alongside project manager Farrah Moore, said it had been hard work tracking down former members but that he was looking forward to the celebration.
He said: "It's very good that a man who is very busy and is a double Bafta winner, like Michael Hines, is popping down to little Bishop Auckland to present these awards.
