VILLAGERS are being invited to express their views through art at three new workshops running weekly.
Professional artists are working in the Dene Valley area to produce an art work bringing opinions and memories to life.
Dene Valley Community Partnership is running the project with the Pride Campaign and Wear Valley Arts. Funding is from Awards for All.
Parents and children can go to a workshop on Mondays from 4pm at the One Stop Shop, Eldon Lane, and on Wednesdays from 1pm at the Chapel, Coundon Grange.
For the over-50s' group there are sessions on Tuesdays from 10am at the One Stop Shop.
Joanne Morley, of the Pride Campaign, said: "Volunteers will get the chance to explore the perceptions of Dene Valley and share memories of living in the area.
"These ideas will come to life through various workshops involving painting, mosaic making and multi-media techniques."
