STAFF at a Darlington caf worked up an appetite by taking part in a gruelling road run for charity.
Six employees from Caf Gulp, in Priestgate, completed the town's 10k Road Race for the third year.
Their efforts raised £417 through customer donations and a raffle, and the proceeds were donated to St Teresa's Hospice, in Darlington.
Paul Mansfield, manager of Caf Gulp, said the staff enjoyed taking part and were keen supporters of the hospice.
Jane Bradshaw, director of St Teresa's, said she and her fellow staff members were delighted with their support.
"Not only do they make an excellent cup of coffee but they are also prepared to put their running shoes on and make a difference in their community," she said.
