A MAN who took several bottles of whisky from a shop display is being hunted by police.
The man, aged about 25, went into the Co-op, in Newton Hall, Durham City, shortly before 8pm on Wednesday, June 22.
He took the bottles of spirits from a display and concealed them from staff as he left without paying.
The 5ft 8in suspect was slim, with short, wavy, mousey-brown hair. At the time of the offence he was wearing a thigh-length waxed jacket and a dark crew-neck sweater.
