TWO new exhibitions opened at a North-East museum at the weekend.
The Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle, County Durham, stages A Gardener's Labyrinth: Portraits of People, Plants and Places, on Saturday.
The display has been organised by the National Portrait Gallery and is a photographic collection including portraits of leading gardeners, garden designers and artists.
The collection, Teesdale Landscapes and Livelihoods in Textiles, will also be going on show.
A museum spokeswoman said: "This is a vibrant piece of visual heritage which has been created by local schools and community groups who have been influenced and inspired by Teesdale."
