STUDENTS at Darlington College have proved it's never too late to raise money for charity.
Health and social care course students wanted to support a national fundraiser for breast cancer research last month.
But the event clashed with the college's annual Team Challenge outdoor activities exercise in Teesdale.
Undeterred, the students donned their pink clothes and organised a belated fundraiser - a day-long coffee morning, guess the weight of the cake competition and bric-a-brac stall.
Tutor Jean Robinson said: "The girls weren't to be put off and thanks to their determination and effort the charity is going to be £191 better off."
