FA Trophy: BISHOP Auckland's problems continued when they were beaten 3-1 at home by Woodley Sports in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
Bishops also missed out on some much needed prize money, and manager Brian Healy said: "We lost the game in the first 20 minutes.
"We didn't compete at times, and we gave away two bad goals.
"I thought we were showing signs of improvement, but this game was a case of one step forward and four steps back. We are too nice and too weak in both penalty areas. The top priority now is to avoid relegation"
Alan Bailey put Woodley into the lead after nine minutes, then Chris Curley made it 2-0.
Paul Crager pulled a goal back on 21 minutes, but Bishops couldn't pull level and, after they had defender Luke Allen dismissed for a second booking, Russell Hedley made sure.
Blyth beat Whitby for the third time this season 2-0 at Croft Park, with goals in the last 15 minutes through Andrew Leason and Chris McCabe.
Gateshead are also through after a 1-0 home win over Kidsgrove, Paul Thompson scoring after 72 minutes.
