A DRAMA group is celebrating its tenth anniversary by performing Goldilocks and The Three Bears for the first time.
Centre Stage in Shildon has brought a host of pantomimes and plays to the town over the years, but has never performed the classic fairy tale.
A group spokesman said: "We wanted to do something different and we decided to do this.
"We have never done it before and the costumes are absolutely fantastic this year. All of the cast are working really hard and we are really looking forward to it."
The group is also hoping to encourage people to come forward to take part in future productions.
"We are trying to enhance the group by becoming all-round entertainers, so we are looking for singers and dancers to help us achieve this goal," said the spokesman.
"We would love to hear from anyone, over 15 years, who would like to join us."
Centre Stage meets on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm in the Civic Hall, Shildon.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears takes to the stage on Friday, November 25, at 7.30pm.
Further performances take place on Saturday, November 26, at 2pm, and on Sunday, November 27 at 3pm.
