TOURIST information centres in Hambleton are selling Christmas cards which benefit more than 25 major charities.
The centres, in Northallerton and Thirsk, are in a national network of shops stocking Cards for Good Causes. Charities receive at least 81p in every £1 from the card sales.
This is the fourth year that centres in Hambleton have sold the cards. Last year they raised more than £6,000.
The Thirsk centre is open from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, this month and next.
Northallerton's centre, in the Applegarth car park, is open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 1pm on Saturdays
