YOUNG people are being encouraged into higher education with the launch of a poster campaign.
Called You Can Do It, the campaign will be a key element in Aimhigher Tees Valley's drive to get more people into education and to raise aims, especially among minority groups.
The first phase of the campaign was launched this week at Teesside University.
The first posters feature ten local higher education champions, who have been through or are in higher education. Each poster tells a champion's story, showing readers that people of all ages and backgrounds can succeed.
Each poster is themed, covering issues and problems such as financial issues that may stop some people from considering college and university.
The posters will be displayed across the Tees Valley, in schools, community centres, sports centres and shops and businesses.
Forty more posters will be displayed before next July.
