AS Remembrance Sunday approaches, the Veterans Agency is reminding people in the region of its services.
The agency is available all year round for anyone who has served in the HM Armed Forces and their families.
It can offer advice on a variety of issues affecting veterans' lives, from health to housing and finances to benefits.
The chief executive of the agency, Alan Burnham, said: "At this time of year, we pause to remember those who have been killed or injured in defence of the nation and what they did for us all.
"I would encourage veterans and their families to contact us and see what we can now do for them."
Services can be accessed via a free helpline on 0800 169 2277 or by logging on to the website www.veteransagency.mod.uk
