SWIMMING pool staff put on some extra clothing before taking the plunge and raising £200 for charity.
The eight female members of the team at Thirsk pool all donned their bras to swim 532 lengths of the pool.
As part of breast cancer awareness month, they each spent 90 minutes in the pool to complete the 13,300-metre challenge and raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
"Most of us know someone who has been through, or is living with, breast cancer, and research shows exercise can play a bit part in lowering the risk of certain cancers," said duty officer Nicola Stockdale.
"We wanted to help raise some cash to fund research into a disease that claims 200 new sufferers almost every day.
"We want to thank everyone who sponsored us and cheered us on during the marathon swim."
