A FREE tour around Darlington's oldest park will take place on Saturday, allowing residents to see the results of a multi-million pound restoration project.
South Park has been brought up to date with modern facilities such as a new skate park and education centre, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Both disabled access and use of pushchairs have been taken into account by the developers, allowing easy access for all.
Walkers should meet at the South Park clock tower at 2.30pm. The walk is expected to last until 4pm and children should be accompanied by adults.
