ANIMAL RESCUE: Members of Saltburn Animal Rescue Association (Sara) and Save Our Strays will be holding a joint fundraising event tonight at Marske Cricket Club, from 7.30pm to 11pm. The entertainment will be provided by Marske Fishermen's Choir. Tickets, costing £4, can be obtained from the Sara shop, Guisborough, or by calling (01287) 636777.
OPEN EVENING: Prior Pursglove College is opening its doors to prospective students next Monday, between 5pm and 7pm, to show what courses the sixth form has to offer. Staff and students will be present to answer questions and the whole campus, in Church Walk, Guisborough, will be open, with displays in each department.
