The North-East's biggest law firm Dickinson Dees has welcomed 13 trainee solicitors as part of its annual recruitment drive.
The firm has recruited graduates from Oxford, Cambridge and St Andrews, as well as the North-East's top universities.
The lucky 13 took part in a rigorous selection process to win places at the firm.
Among them is ELAINE CAMPBELL, 24, from Newcastle, who is working in Dickinson Dees' commercial team.
She said: "With my background in company law, starting out in the commercial team is perfect.
"It's an area I enjoy and already have a strong affinity for and I am looking forward to developing this."
Each of the trainees will undertake a two-year training programme, spending six months in four departments to gain a range of practical legal experience.
Dickinson Dees employs 700 people in offices in Newcastle and the Tees Valley.
