Cleadon SC passed up several good scoring opportunities and paid the penalty, conceding the last unbeaten record when they lost 3-1 at Whitehaven.

Four minutes later, Nissan increased their lead as Lee Bell latched onto a through ball before beating Gibson and with 11 minutes remaining, it was all over for the depleted visitors when Bell scored.
Substitute Stephen Bagley also found himself one-on-one with Gibson, hitting the fourth goal in the 87th minute.

Before the end, Aidan McCaffrey picked up a partially cleared free kick to beat Gateshead goalkeeper Richard Swan.
The games at Cleator Moor Celtic, Ferryhill Athletic and Harton and Westoe were all postponed because grounds were unfit.
