LOCAL people are being given their say on the future of the former site of the old Terrys of York chocolate factory.
The factory complex, in Bishopthorpe Road, closed in September after all production was switched to Europe.
A draft development brief for the site has been produced.
The document sets out the local council's aspirations for the site's regeneration.
Potentially acceptable uses could include offices, science and technology accommodation, a hotel, conference and leisure facilities, housing and work units.
City of York Council is now carrying out a consultation exercise to gauge the thoughts of interested organisations and members of the public.
The draft development brief can be viewed in libraries and on the council's website at www.york.gov.uk/planning/terrys
