A SHOW is being staged at a Darlington school tonight to raise money for charity.
The glittering evening of dance, music and singing is being held at Longfield Comprehensive School and the proceeds will go to St Teresa's Hospice.
The event has been organised by performing arts student Lisa Riley.
The 17-year-old has called on more than 30 local dancers and singers to help her.
The performers come from dance schools across the borough and range in age from five to 18. They will perform songs and routines from musicals, including Blues Brothers, and will be accompanied by a band.
It is the third year Miss Riley has organised the show and the second time it is being held at the Longfield Road site.
The show will run from 7pm to 9.30pm. Tickets are available at the door and cost £3 for adults and £2 for children.
