PEOPLE in east Durham are being invited to get involved in issues affecting their homes and communities.
They can voice their views at a tenants' conference to be staged in Peterlee Leisure Centre on Wednesday, from 9.30am to 3pm.
The event will give everyone in the district the opportunity to have their say on housing matters and follows a similar event last month at Murton's Glebe Centre.
There will be two discussion groups focusing on topics ranging from estate management and youth involvement to vehicle nuisance and consultation on new initiatives.
Guest speaker will be Sheila Breslin, head of business development at Your Homes Newcastle, which manages the city's council housing stock of 33,000 properties.
There will also be a buffet lunch and free raffle, with prizes including a signed Sunderland football.
