THE first in a series of drop-in sessions is being held tomorrow, urging people to get involved in shaping Darlington's future.
Residents are invited to the event at Skerne Park Community Caf, in Coleridge Gardens, from 2pm to 4pm.
They can talk to a borough council planning officer and express their views on how the area should be developed over the next 15 years.
The results of the consultation will help shape the council's local development framework, which is a vision of how the borough will look in years to come.
It will detail what areas can be developed and what types of development are allowed.
The framework will cover residential, industrial and recreational development.
There will be another 13 sessions and a public meeting to follow at later dates.
More information is available on the council's website at www.darlington.gov.uk
