THE re-formed Scarborough branch of The Friends of Martin House Children's Hospice is holding a coffee morning to mark the relaunch, at Westborough Methodist Church on Saturday.
One of the organisers, David Bowler, said the Boston Spa hospice cared for a number of children from the Scarborough area.
He said: "It is a remarkable organisation."
The group is looking for new members to help support its fundraising work in Scarborough.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Scarborough, Councillor and Mrs Derek Bastiman, will be attending the coffee morning which starts at 10 am.
Anyone willing to help the new group is asked to go to the event or ring Mr Bowler or Eileen, a member of the committee, on (01723) 350565.
