NEARLY 30 voluntary organisations will attend an event to publicise their work in Ripon Cathedral.
The seminar will run from 10am to 3pm on Saturday.
The groups all provide services to communities in Ripon and the surrounding area.
Visitors will get the chance to find out more about the organisations and volunteering opportunities.
Joy Rayden, manager of Ripon Council for Voluntary Services, said: "Ripon and its neighbouring towns and villages have a proud tradition of volunteering and people are often surprised and the wide range of jobs which volunteers get involved in."
