A LEAFLET designed to help sufferers of domestic abuse is being distributed across Hambleton and Richmondshire.
It is the latest phase of a campaign to highlight the plight of people who suffer at the hands of their partners.
The Don't Suffer in Silence campaign, which is being run by the community safety partnerships for Hambleton and Richmondshire, has seen posters appear across the region showing violence against men, women and children.
The leaflet urges people not to be afraid to ask for help and contains details on how to get out of abusive relationships.
A detachable credit cardsized telephone list is included with the leaflet, containing numbers for local and national helplines.
The red and white leaflets are being sent to all district council offices, police stations, GP surgeries, health centres, hospitals and leisure centres.
