3FT FISH STOLEN FROM POND: POLICE probing a slippery theft are urging potential buyers to be on their guard. A 3ft sturgeon, believed to be worth several hundred pounds, was stolen from a pond in Farmbank Road, Ormesby, Middlesbrough. Police are appealing for anyone who may have been offered the fish for sale to call PC Paul Brown, of Eston police office, on (01642) 302626.
