AN author is to reveal the story behind her award-winning novel tonight.
Marion Husband will speak on The Boy I Love, at 7.15pm, in Clayport Library, Durham City.
She was a prolific writer as a child, but stopped when she was a teenager and only returned to writing in 1992 and wrote her novel while completing a two-year part-time MA in creative writing at Northumbria University.
Ms Husband was the first winner of the Andrea Badenoch Award and is currently working on her second novel, Paper Moon.
Admission to the talk is free, but places should be reserved by calling Clayport Library on 0191-386 4003.
