THE work of one of the country's leading photographers, Joe Cornish, is going on display at a second venue in Northallerton.
Mr Cornish already has a gallery in Zetland Street and now a selection of his work has gone on show at the town's Stone Cross civic centre.
Born in Exeter, Mr Cornish became a full-time photographer in 1985, working first as a travel photographer, before devoting his time to landscapes when he moved to North Yorkshire ten years ago.
He is the first-choice landscape photographer for the National Trust and has worked for environmental agencies and magazines.
He also lectures in the UK and abroad, and leads workshops.
The civic centre display includes photographs of landscapes at Sutton Bank, Malham Cove, Roseberry Topping and Whitby. It will be on show until Christmas.
Mr Cornish, who also has a gallery in College Square, Stokesley, also has work on display at the Lowry Gallery, in Salford Quays, Manchester.
