PUPILS and staff at a village school looked pretty in pink as they supported a national charity campaign. Hurworth School, Maths and Computing College, near Darlington, got behind Breast Cancer Care's Tickled Pink initiative and raised nearly £300 for the cause. Participants paid £2 to wear pink for a day, badges were sold, and a total of £290 was collected. The event was organised by pastoral assistant Sacha Buckley.
