YOUTH club members are hosting a coffee evening next month to get to know the adult residents in their area.
The Primrose Hill Youth Club in Stockton will be offering cups of tea and coffee, biscuits and cake, along with fun games and activities.
The coffee evening is being held in a bid to break down barriers between young people and adults.
The coffee evening, taking place next Tuesday, is part of Stockton Youth Service's intergenerational activities project, Young People and Communities Together.
The project is funded by the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund through Stockton Renaissance.
The evening will give the young people a chance to talk to local adults about the things they would like to see at their youth club and also to create a level of respect for all concerned.
Similar activities are also being planned by youth club members, including a drama project that will be starting after the half-term hol- iday.
Everyone is welcome to attend the coffee evening, which starts, at 6.30pm, at Primrose Hill Community Centre, Appleton Road, Stockton.
For more information about the evening, contact Mark Davis at Stockton Youth Service on (01642) 527976.
