YOUNG musicians will be in the spotlight at the latest in a series of concerts showcasing their talents.
Durham Young Musicians will stage a concert on Sunday, in the DLI Museum and Durham Art Gallery, at Aykley Heads, Durham.
Violinist Ed Cross and pianist Alison Chandler will perform in the concert, which starts at 2pm.
Ed, who has been playing since the age of seven, has performed with the Young Sinfonia orchestra and has completed music degrees at Birmingham and Newcastle universities. He is currently leader of Newcastle University's Symphony Orchestra.
Alison, from Hexham, is a well-known chamber musician.
Among the pieces in the programme will be Beethoven's Sonata in D Major, as well as works by Prokoviev.
Normal admission charges for the DLI will apply - £3 for adults, £2 for concessions and £1.25 for children.
