Marske United have appointed former boss Charlie Bell as their new manager following the sudden departure of Darren Trotter.
Marske lost 3-2 at home to North Shields on Saturday to leave them in the bottom half of the table, with Trotter leaving shortly after.
Club chairman John Hodgson said: "It was a shame we had to part company with Darren, but we are treading water.
"We know Charlie from his previous spell. He did well for us before, and
everybody is delighted that he has come back."
Bell, a former Middlesbrough player, was in charge of Marske when they were promoted from the Wearside League and then the Northern League Second Division, as well as reaching the League Cup final, but he left two seasons ago. Steve Dowling has been appointed his assistant.
Several matches tonight are threatened by heavy rain.
West Auckland will be without striker Lee Ellison for their League cup tie
with Spennymoor, who are without striker Kristian Dinsley and Mark Brischuk because of suspension.
Holders Dunston hope to have defender Michael Farrey back for their home tie with Washington, while Sunderland Nissan have an injury doubt over striker Gavin Cogdon at Penrith.
Blyth are hoping to progress to the first round proper of the FA Cup, but
they have a difficult task at Chasetown in the Midland Alliance.
