PUPILS from All Saints' Secondary School, in Ingleby Barwick, near Middlesbrough, are being put through their paces with the help of a local health club.
The group of 17 year ten students are receiving special fitness classes from Bannatyne's Health Club, Ingleby Barwick, to support their work towards a BTEC National Certificate in Sport.
The students are studying preparation for sport, which includes fitness training methods, physiological aspects of sport and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, including the issues of alcohol and drugs.
Michelle Clough, head of sports and leisure at All Saints' school, said: "Bannatyne's have been really supportive in helping our students understand how the elements of their BTEC Certificate can be applied in a working fitness environment."
