WASHDAY blues will be red hot fun at a north Durham library this week.
Staff from Durham Heritage Centre will be at Durham County Council's Clayport Library to tell the story of Mrs Mopple's washing line, complete with clothes to dress up in.
The event, which is open to all, starts at 11am today and is free.
There is more half-term fun on Wednesday, with a free storytime at 11am and, at 2.30pm, children aged six to 11 are invited to celebrate African culture in Black History Month with a mask-making session.
Entry to the session is £1 and places should be reserved by calling Clayport Library on (0191) 386 4003.
