Medical students have sent temperatures soaring by baring all for the camera.
Syringes, medical text books and strategically placed body parts are the only things helping preserve the modesty of the medics from Newcastle University.
The calendar girls are hoping to raise money for breast cancer research.
Third-year medical student Rebecca Johnson, 20, spent weeks convincing friends and colleagues to bare all in the name of charity.
She said: "It was so difficult to organise it all, especially since the first time we took our clothes off for the camera there was a power cut.
"At first, everyone seemed nervous because we'd never done anything like this before.
"But, because it took so long to get the shots we wanted, by the end, we couldn't have cared less that we were naked."
Rebecca, from Annfield Plain, County Durham, was joined on the shoot by Sarah Frewin - and Sarah enlisted the help of husband, Adrian, 36, to take the photos.
Sarah, 35, of Gosforth, Newcastle, said: "They were one month short of a year, so I agreed to get my clothes off. We haven't decided what months we are going to be, but I wouldn't mind being September, as that's my birthday."
