A SERIES of health events are being held in Wensleydale and Swaledale in the coming weeks.
Professionals will give advice about pensions and tackling domestic violence, and nurses will check people's blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
Police officers and firefighters will also be there.
The events will take place at Hawes Community Primary School from 1pm to 4pm on Tuesday, Askrigg Village Hall from 1pm to 4pm on Thursday, Colburn Recreation and Leisure Centre from noon to 4pm on Wednesday, November 2, Middleham Key Centre from 1pm to 4pm on Thursday, November 3, and Quaker Close flats, in Reeth, from 1pm on Friday, November 4.
District Nurse Tanya Wilbor, who helped organise the events, said: "We would encourage everyone to come along and find out more."
