MARTIN Scott believes Chris Llewellyn is starting to show Hartlepool United what he is all about.
The four-times capped Wales international has yet to make a big impression since his summer move from Wrexham, as Pool have stuttered along this season.
Tomorrow's game with MK Dons sees Pool still searching for their first home win of the season at the seventh League One attempt in a game they can ill-afford to lose.
But, fresh from an impressive display in the LDV Vans Trophy on Tuesday, in what was seen as their best attacking display of the season, Scott is confident of victory.
Llewellyn impressed on the right flank at Glanford Park, supplying striker Eifion Williams with a string of gilt-edged chances.
The summer signing started on the right flank and Scott admitted: "He played really well and showed more confidence in a position he looked happy in.
"I know he is a great player, that's why we brought him here. He did well pre-season and looked bright. Sometimes it takes players a bit of time to settle in, but he settled in really quick.
"His family then came up and it was about moving into a new place with his family and that can sometimes affect a player.
"But he's showed he's a good gfootballer and certainly performed well the other night.
"His deliver the other night was spot on - it was just disappointing that we didn't have Jon Daly in there to put them away.
"But I thought Lee Bullock and Eifion Williams combined well together and we created plenty of chances.''
l Pool have been unable to appeal against the red card Ben Clark received in the game at Scunthorpe, as the home club failed to record the game.

Midfielder Matty Appleby is a major doubt for Saturday's visit of Cheltenham Town after twisting his ankle at Kidderminster.
Carlos Logan is due to see a specialist to discover the full extent of an Achilles problem. Logan has missed the last three games.
