CHILDREN can keep themselves busy during the half-term holiday with a variety of activities in Stockton.
The Corner House Project and Stockton Community Safety Team are offering eight to 14-year-olds a chance to take part in the Play Outdoor Initiative (POD).
It will allow young people to try their hand at a range of familiar and unusual leisure activities, including tag rugby, football, tennis and lacrosse.
The scheme, next week, runs between Monday afternoon and Friday, with sessions daily from 10am to 11.30am for children aged eight to 11, and from 1pm to 2.30pm for 12-to-14-year-olds.
Sessions are free, but children must live in the Hardwick, Port Clarence or Norton Grange areas of Stockton.
