CHILDREN and their parents took a journey through the workings of the world at the weekend at an event to celebrate Einstein.
Hartlepool Central Library was turned into a physics workshop on Saturday for Einstein in the Library, a fun and educational event that was organised in collaboration with Hartlepool College of Further Education.
There was a star lab inflatable dome, to take people through the solar system, as images of stars and planets were projected on to the side of the dome.
And there were craft and storytelling sessions, as well as fun experiments and a treasure hunt.
The day was funded by the Institute of Physics, as part of the Einstein Year celebrations to mark the centenary of the publication of Einstein's Theory of Relativity.
Gillian Slimings, Hartlepool's children and young person's librarian, said: "We lined up some great events to feed the minds of little Einsteins and their families."
