Bosses at a car dealership have thanked a passer-by who dialled 999 after spotting a fire.
Elaine Russell was walking past the Williamson Motors Peugeot dealership, on September 28, and saw smoke coming from the workshop.
She called fire crews who put out the blaze.
The company has presented Miss Russell with a bouquet to say thank you.
Williamson Motors managing director, Simon Williamson, said: "We are deeply grateful to Miss Russell. If it were not for her quick actions and the selfless work of the emergency services, things could have been a lot worse.
"We are currently making repairs to our dealership. There will be no effect on our customers and trading."
Miss Russell said: "I could not just walk on by and do nothing. I was running late for the cinema, but fortunately heard the alarms then saw the smoke. I just acted instinctively and called the fire brigade.
"I waited for the fire engines to arrive then headed off to the cinema, but didn't realise the severity of the blaze until we returned after the film and saw the fire engines were still there."
