RESIDENTS in Stockton are being invited to share their memories of the Second World War as part of an exhibition at Preston Hall Museum.
Stockton Borough Council's arts development team has secured funding from Home Front Recall to produce the project to coincide with the Imperial War Museum exhibition at Billingham Art Gallery.
The team is looking for people who are happy to share their memories with project leaders and schoolchildren - these would be recorded and filmed to be included at the Preston Hall Museum at the end of next month.
There is an open drop-in session being held on Saturday, October 29, from 11am to 3pm at Stockton Central Library. Arrangements can be made to visit people in a more convenient place.
Anyone interested in being part of the exhibition is asked to contact Jenni Owen on (01642) 526469 or Michele Plews on 07941 356856.
The Imperial War Museum exhibition will be held at Billingham Art Gallery from November 28 to January 8.
