SPECTACULAR hairdos are one thing, but staff at one salon took the idea a step further in the name of charity.
The team from Headquarters, in Bedale, (pictured above) hid their locks under bright pink frizzy wigs to help raise awareness of breast cancer.
The salon held its pink week to encourage female clients to take part in a raffle and make donations during Breast Cancer Month.
The fundraising month has been held every year since 1991 for the charity Breast Cancer Breakthrough, which is committed to fighting the disease through research and awareness.
